Bamboo Village Closing End of January 2026

Bamboo Village Closing End of January 2026

After half a century in the neighbourhood, Bamboo Village will close at the end of this month. Known for its wide selection of plants, ceramics, joss, and bamboo goods, Bamboo Village is the quintessential “Chinatown” shop and a legacy business that has been run by Keller and Dixon Ng for over 30 years, and has been in their family for even longer. Having witnessed and adapted to the changes in the neighbourhood over the decades, including the COVID-19 pandemic, Keller and Dixon had discussed retirement last year, but recently set the date for their store’s closure as January 31, 2026. As part of their preparation for closing, they are looking to clear out as much of their inventory as they can, and are offering deep discounts.
