On Saturday, February 3, Chinatown Together is hosting a banner making workshop to amplify Chinatown organizing. Community elder Ms. Zhang 張小姐 & Beverly Ho will teach basic sewing and textile skills and guide participants in creating banners of their own design!

Inspired by queer Chicago artist Aram Han Sifuentes and their Protest Banner Lending Library, this free, intergenerational event is for the community to come together to create protest and celebration banners to amplify Chinatown and our collective organizing.

- Additional fabric to share or use
- Your banner design idea (If you’d to create a banner of your own design, please email Beverly at ho.beverly@gmail.com with your design idea and images)
- Water to stay hydrated
