Tourism Challenge Returns to Chinatown

This year, the Vancouver Chinatown BIA is once again a participant in the Vancouver Tourism Challenge! Beyond the free admission and stamps available at attractions such as the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden (578 Carrall Street), the Chinatown Storytelling Centre (168 East Pender Street), and the Chinese Canadian Museum (51 East Pender Street), neighbourhood stamps are available until May 31.

Once you’ve collected all four 揮春 (fai1 cun1 | huī chūn), you can collect two stamps from Modernize Tailors (27 East Pender Street), which is open from 10:00am-6:o0pm from Tuesday-Saturday. Stamps are only available if participants have collected all four 揮春 (fai1 cun1 | huī chūn) from the participating businesses, and participants can contact the BIA if they have any questions or issues (106 Keefer Street, or by phone at 604-632-3808).

The Tourism Challenge is a Vancouver tourism industry tradition, where staff and volunteers at participating businesses, sites, and organizations can gain free entry to tourist attractions around the city and re-educate themselves on tourism-related information.
